post partum care & support

The Health Care Providers at Cathy J. Berry and Associates are committed to keeping you both physically and mentally healthy during your pregnancy and postpartum period. We understand that pregnancy, childbirth and infant care can be very stressful. Infact, many studies show that new mothers are at an increased risk for a variety of adjustment disorders including postpartum depression. We encourage you to openly communicate to your Health Care Provider any feelings of overwhelming stress or depression during this period of time.  Prenatal and postnatal depression screening is part of your routine obstetric care and medical intervention is available if needed. For more information please discuss your individual needs with your provider or visit postpartum.net

Supporting the Family Mobile / You are Not Alone, This group is for moms or pregnant women who are struggling with depression, anxiety or maternal role transition.  It is ideal for women with a history of anxiety and depression and who want to be proactive or preventative with current pregnancies.

You should have been discharged home with instructions for taking care of yourself and your baby.
